Thousands of people walk in the town of Bollywood every day. Some dream to be an actor, some dream to be a singer, some dream to be a director. The aspirations are endless and so are the opportunities. Some people swoop in the industry quite smoothly and some don’t even get a chance to appear for an audition.
Many actors here are models because the producers treat ramp walks as their very own walk of the audition. But many actors are actors because, of course, nepotism.
There’s no denying the fact there exist numerous actors who make Bollywood what it is, who have put lots of hard work in reaching the heights they are at. And trust me, the world couldn’t be more thankful for the talent they have brought to us.
But here’s a list of actors whom we need to thank more than ever for leaving Bollywood. Yes, you got it right! I don’t know if y’all saw the silver screen cry on their debut or not, but I did.
Take a look:
The very controversial son of Shekhar Suman, actor Adhyayan Suman started his career with Haal-e-Dil in 2008 but the movie didn’t perform well. He hasn’t been spotted anywhere except on the news channels bashing Kangana Ranaut.
After 2008, he gave more flops like Jashnn, and Dehraadun Diary. He was last seen in 2014 in the movie Heartless.
The Golmaal: Fun Unlimited, Golmaal Returns,Golmaal 3 actor and Golmaal Again actor. Wait, what? Is there any other movie we know him for?
Maybe too much of Golmaal is the reason Tusshar’s career has also gone golmaal. He hasn’t really left Bollywood but I guess he’s never going to leave Golmaal too.
Adding ‘former’ to his name is the best thing Wikipedia has done to Harman Baweja. The actor made his debut in Bollywood with Priyanka Chopra starrer Love Story 2050.
The maximum amount of fame he witnessed was when he was dating Priyanka Chopra. His other movies include What’s Your Raashee? and Victory also shelved at the box office.
Uday Chopra has worked as an assistant director for many of his father’s films. Everything was going well until one day Uday decided to make his acting debut with the multi-starrer (reason that movie was a big hit. Duh!) movie Mohabbatein.
The actor ‘was’ always seen doing side roles in movies like Dhoom, Dhoom 2 and Dhoom 3.
Who else is laughing?
Son of Kirron Kher and Anupam Kher, Sikander Kher made his debut in Bollywood at the age of 27 with Woodstock Villa in 2008.
His other movies like Summer 2007, Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey, Players also didn’t give his career a flight. Sikander was last seen in Tere Bin Laden 2.
Can you believe Fardeen Khan won the Filmfare Best Debut Award for Prem Aggan in 1998.
But we do not see much of him now except that the Internet keeps trolling him for putting on weight!
Mimoh aka Mahaakshay Chakraborty is the son of the superstar Mithun Chakraborty. He made his debut with 2008 film Jimmy.
He did a few films like Haunted – 3D, Rocky and Ishqedarriyaan. All of them tanked at the box office.
Son of actor Sanjay Khan, Zayed Khan made his acting debut with Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne in 2003. The actor was later offered Shah Rukh Khan starrer Main Hoon Na (2004).
His fun-est song, ‘mohabbat hai mirchi’ is what he is remembered for.
Zayed was last seen in Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene in 2015.
Imaad Shah made his debut in movies with his father Naseeruddin Shah’s Yun Hota To Kya Hota (2006). He was also seen in Dil Dosti Etc, Little Zizou, Dhobi Ghat, and Mira Nair’s The Reluctant Fundamentalist (2013).
TV actor Vatsal Seth was most liked on the silver screen when he did Taarzan:The Wonder Car in 2003. He started his career on television with Just Mohabbat.
Vatsal had a successful career on the Indian television and we wish he just stayed there.
This cutie-patootie made his debut in 2007 with a movie called MP3 – Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar.
He also did some other movies like Tere Sang, Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai, and Dangerous Ishqwhich of course did not do well on the box office and fated his sad exit from the industry.
He is known better for his appearance in TV reality show, Bigg Boss in 2007. Rahul Roy did quite a few movies but couldn’t leave a mark on Bollywood.
The actor keeps making his comeback with multiple movies that keep tanking!
Rose to fame with his character in the movie Murder, Ashmit Patel started his career with a movie called Inteha (2003).
He also did a few other movies like Fight Club – Members Only, Dil Diya Hai and Toss which justifies his exit. The actor was later seen in reality shows.
The younger son of actors Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak who made his Bollywood debut with the critically acclaimed movie, 7 Khoon Maaf in 2007.
He did a few more flop films like Happy New Year, Bombay Velvet after that.
