How To Place Google AdSense Ads On Your Website Or Blog

Having an approved AdSense account is a dream for every blogger or website owner. But getting an approval from Google is not that easy, because Google has a long list of AdSense Program policies. I believe, the quality of the content is also the KING for AdSense account approval.

In this article, I am writing my own story, how I got approval for AdSense account. Trust me this blog “neWskART” got approval just in 10 posts and also in 40 days. I don’t even remember how many times I re-applied. Guys, don’t get frustrated if your application gets rejected. This is the 12th post of this blog after the approval.

I started applying for AdSense when I posted my first article. My application got rejected. Then again I posted an article and re-applied again. After every single article I posted, I re-applied for approval. Like that after posting the 10th article I re-applied again. After 3 days and after posting 11th article I got an approval mail from Google AdSense.

The best part of Google AdSense is that you can re-apply as many times you want after rectifying the issues pointed out by it. My suggestion is that once you have posted minimum 10 articles then apply for AdSense account.

Never copy content from other sites. You know, it’s a very easy task for Google to detect that. Always write what you know in minimum 600 words. Besides content quality, I paid heed to design part of the blog, traffic to my blog using both on-page and off-page SEO and speed of the site.

What I feel is that there is no threshold for traffic to get an approval, because when I re-applied with 10 posts, I didn’t have huge traffic.

Once the account is activated you will get a mail from AdSense and you will see an approved message in your Google AdSense account as shown below.

AdSense provides “Auto ads” facility that means Google AdSense automatically finds its room as per design and places ads. From my personal experience, “Auto ads” are not placed inside the articles and header. If you have AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) then you can setup “Auto ads” for AMP also. Enable “text & display ad formats” and check “Automatically get new formats” and follow steps 2 and 3.

How To Insert A Banner In Header

1) Login Google AdSense Account.

2) Click on My ads.

3) Click on Ad units.

4) Click on New ad units

5) Select Text & display ads.

6) Enter ad name.

7) Choose ad size by clicking on Recommended.

8) Click on Horizontal banner.

9) Select the banner size 728×90.

10) Click on Save and get code.

11) Copy that code and paste custom HTML widget (Header Widget).

How To Inset An Ad Inside The Article

1) Go to Ad units.

2) Click on New ad units

3) Select In-article ads.

4) Enter ad name.

5) Click on Save and get code.

6) Copy that code.

7) Install and activate Ad Inserter plugin.

8) Go to Setting under “Dashboard” then click on Ad Inserter.

9) Give a name to the ad.

10) Paste the code.

11) Scroll down the window. You can see the settings of the ad.

12) You can choose the position of the ad in the article by using Automatic Insertion drop down. If you have selected “After Paragragh” option then you can give number of paragraphs to leave before the ad is placed in the article.

Now a day, you can insert as many ads you want, but this was not the case, few years back. Also make sure that beauty and speed of the website or blog is maintained. If you placed abundant of ads on the site then look and feel will be affected and site will slow down. So always maintain a balance in between.

It will take few moments to appear the ads. Have patience!!

I will share more articles as and when I will gain more experience.Thank you for reading.
