Hyderabad man gets free ride from Zomato because Uber fares were high. Legend, says Internet

Obesh Komirisetty, a resident of Hyderabad, was stranded around midnight. Cab fares were high. And he wasn’t able to book an auto. But he did manage to get home with Zomato’s help.

What would you do if you are stranded on a street around midnight and need to get home soon? Well, the answer is simple. Contact Zomato. Didn’t get it? We’ll explain, but of course with some help from Obesh Komirisetty, a resident of Hyderabad.

Obesh is winning the internet after he managed to get a free ride home, all thanks to a Zomato delivery boy. In a post on Twitter as well as Facebook, Obesh narrated the incident and needless to mention, is already a star on social media. Not to forget, Zomato is garnering a whole lot of praise as well.

Obesh wrote about the incident last week and said that he was looking for an auto to go home but couldn’t get one. Uber cab fares were high. And to make matters worse, Obesh was hungry as well. So, guess what he did. Forget it, because this is incredible. We’ll let Obesh do the talking.

“I just opened Zomato and searched for food shops around me, I found one Dosa Bandi near me and ordered Egg Dosa . The delivery boy came and he was going to pick up my order at Dosa Bandi. So I called him and said this is my order, I asked him to drop me in the delivery location (My Room Address). So he dropped me along with order at my room,” Obesh wrote, adding that the delivery boy asked him for a five star rating. “I said OK.”

This is superb!

It was around 11.50 pm, I am at Inorbit Mall road and looking for an auto but couldn’t find anything to reach my room….

Obesh’s post has garnered several likes on Facebook and is being shared across the social media platform as well. The internet has opined that Obesh Komirisetty is a legend. We agree.

Zomato’s response to Obesh after he thanked the food aggregator was epic.

True that!
