Digvijaya Singh also made big allegations against the Bajrang Dal and ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) saying that they are taking money from the ISI.

Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh has once again stirred a controversy with his statements. He claimed that non-Muslims are spying for Pakistan’s premier intelligence agency- the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), more than Muslims.

“Non-Muslims are spying for Pakistan’s ISI more than Muslims. This should be understood,” he said.

Digvijaya Singh also made big allegations against the Bajrang Dal and ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) saying that they are taking money from the ISI.

“Bajrang Dal, Bharatiya Janata Party are taking money from ISI. Attention should be paid to this,” he said on Saturday in Madhya Pradesh.

The Congress leader also had things to say about the recent bank merger and the economic slowdown. Digvijaya Singh said the economy is deteriorating under the Modi government, there are no jobs and to recover their deficit, they have the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

Digvijaya Singh’s controversial statements didn’t end there. He also claimed that the people of Northeast eat beef. The Congress leader said that Babar wrote in his will written to Humayun to break temples or slaughter cows. He added that the British slaughtered cows to feed their army.

Digvijaya Singh further said that the members of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Bajrang Dal do business in the name of cow protection.

Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan responded to Digvijaya Singh’s statement claiming the BJP and ISI have links, saying that he gives controversial statements to stay in news. He said Digvijaya Singh and Congress leaders speak in Pakistan’s language.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan added that Pakistan quotes Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. “As far as BJP-RSS is concerned, the entire world, the entire country knows their patriotism,” he clarified.
