Shami posts pic of daughter on Saraswati Puja, Islamists troll her. Internet calls him true Indian

Mohammad Shami recently received a lot of nasty comments on his Instagram after he shared an adorable image of his daughter in a saree at Saraswati Puja.

Indian fast bowler, Mohammad Shami recently received a lot of nasty comments on his Instagram after he shared an adorable picture of his daughter celebrating Saraswati Puja.

Shami posted Aaira’s picture with the caption, “Looking so sweet beta, love you so much. God bless you beta, see you soon.” In the gram, his daughter can be seen dressed in a yellow and red saree standing next to a puja stall with burning incense and diyas.

After the picture was shared, his gram was flooded with Hindu-Muslim comments. This adorable picture of Aaira did not go down well with some of Shami’s followers and they left nasty comments.

One user wrote, “As a Muslim you shouldn’t participate in puja.”‘

“Dear Shami, plz don”t write Muhammad with ur name it is our humble request (sic.),” said another.

At the same time however, there were also a number of users who complimented Shami for being “a great ambassador of love.”

While there were a few who posted nasty comments on Shami’s post, reminding him that he was a Muslim, the pacer was lauded by many.

Fans called Shami a true Indian for sharing the picture of his daughter celebrating Saraswati Puja. They also showered love upon his adorable daughter.

Shami was pivotal in India”s 5-0 win over New Zealand in the recently concluded T20I series between the two sides. He may have taken only two wickets but it was his final over that forced the third T20I into a Super Over which New Zealand were otherwise winning comfortably. India went on to win the match and thus sealed the series victory.

Just showed that he’s loved by many and hated by only a few.
