Television favourite actress from the yesteryear, Shweta Tiwari has had a successful career with well-known serials like Kausati Zindagi Ki. The actress took a three-year-long break but is now back with Mere Dad Ki Dulhan. She plays the role of Guneet, a chirpy and bubbly girl as opposed to her previous characters. Breaking her silence on the three-year-long sabbatical, Shweta said that the main driving factor was money!

The actress made headlines last year when she accused her husband Abhinav Kohli of domestic violence. Abhinav was arrested and released in two days, but the duo parted ways since then. Shweta has two children, Palak and Reyansh and she does a great job handling and balancing her personal and professional life. In an interview, she revealed that she is the only earning member in the family, so she needed to get back to work so that she could take care of the kids.

She was quoted saying by ETimes, “…Everything is expensive these days, and savings se aaj kal kharcha manage nahi ho sakta. For the life I want to give my kids, I will have to step out of the house and work hard. So, I returned to television.”

Talking about maintaining a healthy balance, the actress said that it is her biggest challenge and that she is bad at time management so her family chips in. She said that if she is out for a long period of time, her son Reyansh and his nanny accompany her to the sets and she manages to spend quality time with her daughter by watching movies.
