Video of Pakistani leader punching journalist on live TV goes viral

What are debates on TV these days, if not for wrestling matches?

But here’s a literal one.

PTI’s Masroor Ali Siyal pushing and punching Karachi Press Club president, Imtiaz Khan Farhan, in a video that has since then gone viral.

And the most surprising part? After the fight, everybody takes back their positions as if nothing ever happened !

The PTI leader was seen warning the senior journalist and Karachi Press Club president, Imtiaz Khan Farhan, that he wouldn’t tolerate any insults. And in a split second, the debate turned into a wrestling match.

Footage of the fight from the show “News Line with Aftab Mugheri” was shared by a Pakistani journalist and quickly went viral, leading to a huge debate with questions about if this this the “Naya Pakistan” that the Prime Minister, Imran Khan has promised.

Shared on June 24, the video presently has gathered about 166,000 views – and counting.

Meanwhile, others urged the Pakistan PM to take action against Mr Siyal, a member of his party.

Needless to say, some on Pakistan Twitter were also extremely disappointed with the unprofessional behavior of the PTI leader.

The two were separated by other guests on the show and crew members. Even in the video, one can hear the crew shouting “hato hato”.

And then there were few who were disappointed with the cameraman and managed to find humor in the situation.
